MUN BikeShare is inviting everyone to the launch of their community Repair Shop and the local premiere of the movie
Veer. Veer explores America’s fast-growing bicycling culture by profiling five people whose lives are inextricably tied to bicycling and their bike-centric social groups. The film follows these characters over the course of a year, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their personal struggles and triumphs.
“This will be an exciting night starting with an inspiring film about cycling culture and community building, followed by an informal time for people to meet, discuss the film, take a tour of our Repair Shop and learn how they can get involved here in St. John’s,” said BikeShare coordinator Julie Graham.
The film screening and repair shop launch will take place in the Engineering Theatre, EN-2006 at Memorial University on
Monday November 30. The film will start at 7pm and will be followed by coffee and snacks, and tours of the Repair Shop which is also located in the Engineering Building. Admission is by donation with a suggested donation of $5. For more information, contact BikeShare at
